If I could only share one thing with you it would be this quote from one of my mentors,"Those who have a Mentor in life are truly fortunate. The path of mentor student is one that leads to personal development and growth. Those without a Mentor may appear free and unbeholden to anyone, but without a solid standard or model on which to base themselves their lives will be aimless and wandering". Daisaku Ikeda! This really put things in perspective for me and I became determined to to stand up together with my mentor. To make a positive difference on as many lives as I possibly can. Prior to this my vision was somewhat limited by my humble upbringing. Born in Belize as first son in a family of nine kids. We did not have much but Mom made sure what we had was clean and Dad worked hard. In 1987 I migrated to the United States with a dream. We were branded as minorities but I had a dream of becoming all I can be whatever that was and touching many lives in the process! I have come to an important realization over the years! I realized I am a microcosm existing within a macrososm and that by aligning my dreams and goals with a noble universal one that encompasses all mankind, so one contributes to the other is the ONLY way to truly become all we can be!
